With a 20 HP remote start Kawasaki engine, and dual cutting blades, the TREX 44 can cut through high wet grass on slopes up to 50 degrees. The dual hybrid (electric) drive system allows for a zero turn radius while cutting forward or in reverse. Hybrid drive eliminates the need for hydraulic oil systems and reduces weight and cost. The track ground pressure is a minimal 1.16 lbs per square inch.
The TREX has full remote control for start, stop and motion as well as blade deployment using an Ogura electric clutch. The operating range is up to 2000 feet from the controller, which has a battery life of up to 20 hours.
