The new Gravely Pro-Turn 200 line of commercial zero-turn mowers has 20 percent fewer parts and 89 percent fewer leak points than previous Gravely 200 models, which minimizes maintenance, downtime and input costs, the company says.
The suggested price for the Pro-Turn 200 models starts at $8,699. Equipped with Kawasaki FX engines, the new Pro-Turn 200 mowers have a quieter ZT-5400 pump and wheel motor transmission, the company says, with 25 percent greater output torque.
The new Gravely Pro-Turn 200 series combines a seven-gauge fabricated and welded X-Factor deck with 2-1/2-inch by 1-1/2-inch by ¼-inch steel frame tubing providing added structural integrity. Offering 17 cutting positions in 1/4-inch increments and spindles with durable cast iron housings, Gravely Pro-Turn 200 mowers have an Ogura GT 3.5 electric clutch and foot-operated deck lift system.
A boxed frame around the engine and transmission adds strength, support and further isolates the operator from noise and vibration. A rubber isolated foot platform and two-position foot rest gives the operator a more comfortable zone, the company says, and a full-suspension seat has been lowered increasing mower stability. The machine also has a wider stance and lower center of gravity, which increases hillside stability and traction.
A simplified, yet beefed-up deck lift incorporates an easy-to-use deck leveling system eliminating over-hung loads, and heavy-duty rear lift arm shafts and hanger chains add strength. Additional features include a heavy-duty rubber discharge chute and double-sided anti-scalp brackets which help eliminate bending and breaking of scalp wheels.
